With a strong emphasis on spiritual development and social impact, the church embraces its call to proclaim hope, justice, and renewal, inspiring all to live with purpose and faithfulness.

Meet Our Pastor

Reverend Andrew King

Pastor King seeks to continually “study, to show himself approved.” He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Boston College, studied at Brown University received his Masters of Divinity Degree from Turner Seminary. Reverend King graduated with a host of Academic Accolades. In Addition, he has served as an Adjunct Professor of World Religion at Jacksonville Baptist University, as an instructor of Theology for the Interdenominational Theological Center’s Certificate Program and as an Instructor for the AME South Conference Board of Examiners.

Reverend King participates in active Kingdom-Building. He has an anointed witness and participates in true Spirit Led outreach and evangelism. His desire is to serve God, the Household of Faith and the community at large. Pastor King has developed and served in several incarnational ministries. He has served as a State Prison Drug and Alcohol Counselor, and as a Chaplain for the Atlanta RYDC. Reverend King is a founding father of Alpha 2 Omega Recovery Ministry and The Dorsey Manor Assisted Living Ministry.

Reverend King is a Prolific Preacher, a dedicated Servant/Leader and a constant witness of the Life Changing power of Jesus Christ. Pastor King began his Journey when he was called into ministry in November of 2000. He has served as an associate Pastor at the Cathedral of Turner Chapel in Marietta GA. He was Ordained an Elder in the African Methodist Church in June of 2005, he has since presented himself as an anointed teacher and Kingdom-Builder. He has also served as the Senior Pastor of Saint James African Methodist Episcopal Church and at Greater Saint Peter AME in Valdosta Georgia.

Presently The Kings are engaged in Incarnational Kingdom building by fulfilling the Vision of Solid Rock AME Church where they are presently Serving as Pastor and Co-pastor respectfully.

Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Martha Nell King

Our Co-Pastor, Reverend Martha Nell King is a Compassionate and Dedicated Warrior Of the Lord. As a Woman of Favor, she shares the Distinct title of “Queen Mother” with 3 children, 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Reverend Nell is married to her husband of 36 years, Pastor Andrew K. King. Reverend Nell has served as a Bank Vice President and as the Vice President of the Jacksonville Black Chamber of Commerce. In addition, she has also served With Distinction as the National Chaplain of NABWIC, the National Association of Black Women in Construction.

Reverend Nell has served the Kingdom of God as the Pastor of Coney Chapel AME in Sparks GA. She has previously held the positions of Assistant Pastor of St. James AME church in Adel GA and in Greater St. Peter AME Church, Valdosta. In Addition, Reverend Martha King has also been the President of the Albany/Valdosta Districts “Women In Ministry”. She Presently serves as Co-Pastor of Solid Rock Church, “A new Church For a New Season.”

God has poured a DOUBLE PORTION into his Daughter, and a result Rev. Nell has founded several Transformational Ministries including “Alpha 2 Omega” and The Extra-Ordinary Women’s Ministry. She was the Co-founder of the “Dorsey Manor Assisted Living Ministry and several other bible studies and auxiliaries. Presently God has provided a Prophetic Kingdom Vision and as a result Reverend Nell is the Co Pastor engaged in Building a Kingdom Based Church, Solid Rock Church, in Duluth Georgia.
